Apr & May 2012= MathGames! in Europe, Tony Monaco midwest dates, Chi All-Star Jam w Umphrey's/DTM, Young General w/ RJD2

Greetings fans of drummer Greg Fundis!! In the months of April and May 2012, you can catch Greg Fundis playing throughout the Midwest and Europe with several exciting musical projects!   After a successful collaboration at Axis Java Jazz Festival Indonesia in 2011, Greg Fundis has been picked up to play with Hammond B3 organ master TONY MONACO keeping the good vibes rolling with a string of trio tour dates at jazz clubs throughout the Midwest.  The trio will feature Tony Monaco, Fareed Haque and Greg Fundis on drums appearing April 6, 7 at Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis, April 12 at NightTown in Cleveland, OH and Apr 13, 14 at the Green Mill in Chicago.

Up and coming Hip-Hop artist Young General and his band Five Star featuring Greg Fundis on drums, Marcus Rezak (Digital Tape Machine, The Hue) on guitar, DJ My Boy Elroy (DTM, Liquid Soul) and Matt Longbons (Hello Dave) on bass will be supporting RJD2 at Lincoln Hall Wednesday Apr 18.  Young General's music has recently been featured as theme songs for both the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls.  Check out General's video for "White Sox Fitted" here.


Greg Fundis to perform with members of Umphrey's McGee, Digital Tape Machine, Family Groove Company and more in Chicago All-Star Jam called "Full Court Press 2" April 26 at the Abbey Pub.

Last but not least, the month of May is jam packed for Fareed Haque's MathGames! featuring Greg Fundis on drums with midwest tour dates in Chicago, Madison, Indianapolis and Grand Rapids and debut performances in Europe at the Twents Guitar Festival in Enschede, Netherlands as well an appearance at Summer Camp Music Festival.
